Ultrathin Motor Starters M100 – Powerful Solutions for Tight Spaces

Major Modernization of Micro850® and Micro870®

The Micro850® and Micro870® control systems have undergone extensive modernization. A key milestone is the improved EtherNet/IP Class 1 communication, enabling implicit messaging I/O connections. This allows up to 8 devices to be connected via EtherNet/IP communication. In addition, new features include project encryption options and expanded communication capabilities with the DF1 protocol. The Micro870® version now also supports the DNP3 protocol. Project uploads and downloads are up to 40% faster compared to older versions. This improvement has been achieved through both enhanced controller architecture and better-optimized Connected Components Workbench software (version 21), which is used to program the entire Micro800™ product line.

ArmorKinetix

This is a servo drive built on the Kinetix 5700 platform, designed for demanding environments and the most challenging applications and systems. Two versions are available – DSD and DSM. The DSD (Distributed Servo Drive) version offers a drive placed separately from the servo motor, while the DSM (Distributed Servo and Motor) version combines the motor and drive into a single unit. Power modules are also included, with a maximum of 24 axes per module, but a “multiple” configuration is available for connecting more axes if needed. The ArmorKinetix solution enables the creation of highly efficient and flexible servo control systems based on the Kinetix 5700 platform. CIP Motion support and programming via Studio 5000 are, of course, included.
